Welcome to the crazy, dysfunctional world of Get Fuzzy. In this microcosm of nerdy vegan Rob Wilco's apartment life abide his sociopathic cat Bucky and his guileless but often perceptive dog Satchel (and, yes, they are named after famed Negro Leagues baseball players). Their interactions and domestic repartee not only appeals to pet lovers but also to any cartoon fan who gets a kick out of the idiosyncrasies of life between any co-dwellers.
Bucky, Satchel, and Rob are back for more madness and mayhem. And the world couldn't be happier! Darby Conley's previous titles include two New York Times best-sellers. Bucky Katt is a rather obstinate Siamese who constantly battles his "owner" Rob for control of their home. Satchel Pooch, the Labrador-Shar-pei mix who's sweet and lovable, makes a nice lackey for Bucky. Bucky knows he's smarter than everyone else; it's just a matter of convincing the rest of the world. Satchel always tries to do the right thing but very often ends up the brunt of Bucky's antics. Rob Wilco is a bachelor trying to regain household domesticity. Together, this seemingly typical threesome gets into some less-than-typical but hilarious situations. There's never a dull moment at the Wilco residence.
Get Fuzzy, featured in over 650 newspapers worldwide, is one of the most highly lauded cartoons in the country. The National Cartoonists Society named it Best Comic Strip of 2002. Its sidesplitting humor and hilariously illustrated facial nuances appeal to animal lovers everywhere. Bucky and Satchel's words and expressions are what we all picture our beloved pets saying and doing.

"I've loved Get Fuzzy from the very beginning and I own most of the books. The cartoons in this collection are great, but buying them for a Kindle is a bad idea, because they don't show up well on the screen and because it's hard to find a comfortable page setup to allow you to read them. This is the first Kindle edition I've bought of any comics and I'm going to urge those of you who like comic strips to buy the paperback version simply because it is so much easier to read. The same goes for any kind of military history material. I've bought several books on WWII in the East and none of the maps are readable in the Kindle editions. Maps are absolutely necessary for understanding military battles or campaigns and with the Kindle you'll never be able to make sense of the place names or troop movements.
Recently I bought an IPad, put a Kindle app on it, and all of my complaints"

Recently I bought an IPad, put a app on it, and all of my complaints - This is a great collection of Get Fuzzy strips. If you love Get Fuzzy i recommend getting these books. While you maybe able to view archived strips online, these books put them all at your fingertips
- Get Fuzzy is always a great read! Highly recommend this book for all ages.
- Bucky and Satch are up to their typical crazy antics. I've enjoyed Darby Conley's strip for several years and have started collecting the various books out there.
- I bought this as a gift for my beau, and he just loved it. He enjoys reading the Get Fuzzy comics, as well as Pearls Before Swine, and Calvin and Hobbs. This was a great book to add to his collection of comic treasuries. )
- Adore this comic. Darby Conley continually makes the whole family laugh. We even named our cat after Bucky once we saw the similarities.
- This series on Bucky, Sachel and their human, animal friends and "frienemies" always make me laugh. Darby Conley is a great comedic writer, and he really knows the quirks and foibles of this characters. As a fellow cat lover, I really get a kick out of Bucky!
Of course I love Sachel, Chubby Hugs, and the myriad of great supporting characters. Keep em coming Darby!! - Another great collection of one of the most imaginative comic strips. Not every one is equally funny, but if you are a fan of the strip, you will love this collection.
